The Thaw is slated to begin principal photography on June 16th, 2008 in Williams Lake, and Vancouver, BC for five weeks. Mark A. Lewis (Ill Fated), who co-wrote the film with his brother Michael Lewis, will direct. The film stars Martha MacIsaac (Superbad) in the lead role as Evelyn Kruipen with Val Kilmer ((Déjà vu, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) in a supporting role as MacIsaac's father, Dr. David Kruipen. - MAPLE PICTURES PRESS RELEASE
